What is an Escape Room?

Escape Rooms are team adventure games in which people are “locked” inside a themed room with other participants and have to use elements of the room to solve a series of puzzles, find clues, and escape the room within 60 minutes! Nothing scary, just one hour of mind-boggling fun!

The Forbidden Castle can be played provided the number of 25+ adults is equal to or exceeds the number of minors (born 2016 or older).

Proof of age in the form of a birth certificate or passport may be requested. Failure to provide proof of age or to have the necessary number of adults, will result in denied entry.

The role of the adult in the room is to supervise the kids’ behaviour. We reserve the right to stop the game and ask the participants to leave the room at any point if the behaviour of the kids in the room is deemed irresponsible, dangerous or childish by the game master. No refund is due.

No flexibility to the above rules will apply.

Kids are welcome if they are well behaved and mature. We do escape rooms, not child cares.

You are always requested to be at our premises 15 minutes prior to your start time. If you booked the 18:30 slot, the whole group needs to be at our premises by 18:15. This is the necessary time required for the game briefing and signing of the waiver form. The 60-minute timer will strictly start at booking time, i.e. at 18:30. No exceptions are made to this rule, especially on busy days. A delay in your starting time will interfere with the next booking, which is unfair on others. Please plan the necessary time and factor in traffic and parking time.

Postponements can only be accepted if we are notified 5 days prior to booking date. New date must be within 30 days from original booking date.
Otherwise, deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Definitely not. The concept of the game is not for it to be scary / physical but to serve as an intriguing mind game and an hour of mind-boggling fun!

Teams can range from 2 to 7 participants at a time (per room).

Strictly not. You will be asked to leave your mobile phones / cameras in a locked cabinet prior to entering the room. It is important that what is inside the room is kept as a secret, in order for others to enjoy the experience.

Sure! All our rooms have pre-designed tweaks which can be applied to set them at equal levels of difficulty. This means you can form 2 or 3 separate groups and enter the rooms simultaneously. The first team out of the room wins!

No. The game is all about logic, mental sharpness and attention to detail. Keep in mind that this game is suitable for everyone!
